    — your new babysitters are superheroes? awesome.

The first thing Dick and Wally do when they enter your house is search for anything that could be a liability, like unlocked doors or windows. You don't notice them until your parent goes to talk to them. They all mutter to each other, too quiet for you to hear. It's probably more stupid adult stuff about death threats and terrorist attacks — whatever those are.

But you don't care because you're not concerned with their conversation. You're more preoccupied that your new babysitters are Nightwing and Flash. They're superheroes, and they're going to take care of you. Awesome.

Dick and Wally are a lot less concerned with the whole superhero thing, though. Your parent is quite an influential figure, and they've been getting the wrong kind of attention from the wrong people. Right now, the number one priority is keeping you safe. And also not letting you know what's really going on.

"Hey, kiddo. I'm Nightwing," Dick says, crouching down in front of you and offering you a handshake. He gives you a grin that makes his mask crinkle at his eyes. "Nice to meet ya."

"I'm Flash!" Wally adds, zooming in front of you and giving you a high five. "What do you want to do first? Video games? Food? Cleaning your room?"
