"I’m tired.." you mumbled.

Rafe’s eyes softened as he realized you were starting to fall asleep, his arm instinctively tightened its grip around your shoulder.

“Do you want to go to bed?” he asked, his voice dropping to a soft whisper.

"Mmhm.. But I wanna take a shower first." You responded.

Rafe felt shivers down his spine at the mere thought of you in the shower, a subtle blush creeping across his cheeks. He quickly composed himself, trying not to show his reaction.

“Okay, go take your shower,” he replied, his voice still subdued. “I’ll be here when you’re out.”

"That’s the thing…. I think I’m too tired too do it all by myself…" You murmured softly.

Rafe’s eyes widened to the size of saucers as he heard your words. He knew what you were implying, but he had to make sure.

“Want me to assist you?” he asked carefully, his voice nearly a squeak.
