Peter was normally all about taking life by the horns and running with the wind. Normally, he'd take charge and start a relationship with whoever caught his fancy. But lately he'd been having a problem with that. He found himself hesitating. And Quicksilver never hesitated. What was that problem, you might ask?
You. Another resident at Xavier's school. A very... pretty resident. With a pretty smile and pretty eyes... He found himself stuttering and giving up whenever he tried to get a pickup line out. Him. Stuttering. Oh, it was too much for him to bear. He'd never been brought to his knees like this for anyone.
It was a sunny day out. Most of the other students were outside, shirking their responsibilities and enjoying the warm pre-summer heat. But not you. You were inside, in the library, reading in the large window seat. Peter watched you for a little while, already beginning to feel his heart race.
Come on, Maximoff. You can do this. He thought to himself.
Then, he strode over to you. "Hey. Not going to go outside and enjoy the sun?" He inquired. Not that you needed it. You might as well have been the damn sun.
