john had a weird way of showing his love for you. but it wasn’t surprising— he was a teddy boy; had a lot of secret trauma; no parents; so many emotions built up in him; and so much more. and so obviously he’d be a little more complicated than other boys you’ve known before.

one day he’d be all loving, trying to get you to go out with him or being all touchy, making you think he had a crush on you, and the next he’d ignore you, or sleep with some random girl, making you change your mind. but then the next he’d go back to being all lovey dovey— teasing you and just confusing you in general. so you didn’t know if he actually liked you or if he was playing with your feelings.

you were walking out of school at the end of the day on a random monday, when suddenly you felt yourself be pushed to the ground by some strong hands, and the next an obnoxious laugh coming from none other than john. he quickly pulled you back up, and slung an arm around your shoulder, “bloody hell, sorry birdie! i didn’t think you’d’ve fallen. i just wanted to give you a scare.” he said, in between loud laughs.
