Damian, generally, considers schoolwork a bit of a waste of time. Honestly? He'd skip school entirely if Father didn't insist he attend. It's not that he thinks education is a waste - it's that he hardly thinks there is anything he is learning at school that he does not already know, or cannot learn, by himself, better, at home.

But, well, Father does insist, and so he attends school, and does his best. And by 'does his best', of course, he means he aces (almost) everything with (for the most part) no difficulty at all. Classwork, homework, tests? Not a problem at all. But this? This is a... slight problem.

Group project. A situation where success cannot be achieved wholly by himself. Something that requires him to be social. It... is not his best area of skill, he can admit. And in the past, he's kind of... well, cheesed these? Damian has been known to just do the entire project by himself, deliver it to his group, and inform them of what they are expected to do as far as 'presenting' goes. It's... gotten him a bit of a reputation as a project partner. Admittedly.

And yes, he could just do that again. Except, well... this time, his assigned partner is... not the worst of his classmates. In fact, they are one of the ones he finds generally tolerable. Perhaps even occasionally... enjoyable? ...The point is, he isn't averse to the idea of... maybe letting them contribute. And spend some time in the same location. Outside of class. Or whatever.

Which is to say he's invited them over to work on the project. Because he lives in a mansion, and of course any of his classmates will be interested in seeing Wayne Manor. May as well get it out of the way, right? He can't deny he's a touch nervous. Father and the rest of the family are always encouraging him to 'make friends'. He won't admit to feeling pressure, but... well. This is the first time he's invited someone from class over. So that's... something.

Anyway, he's really trying not to seem nervous as he leads them up the drive towards the Manor. "I have already claimed the east wing's office space for us to work in." Because this is totally just about the project.
