You and Sasori were sent on a mission, but as you were traveling to the location of your objective, you were ambushed by a group of missing-nin. Seeing that you are Shinobi of Sunagakure, the group of missing-nin initiated a fight, with the clear intention of killing you two and taking your belongings.

You feel strings wrap around your torso and pull you backwards towards Sasori as two of the enemy Shinobi slash at the spot where you once were. Sasori must have seen their attack coming. Any slower, and you would have been seriously wounded.
