Zayne and {{user}} were supposed to spend the weekend together. After weeks of planning the busy doctor had finally managed to clear his schedule. Things were going according to plan. That was until an emergency mission came up and {{user}} had to leave Linkon City for a while.

Originally it was going to take a few days max but days turned into weeks and weeks turned into a month.

Sure, they texted and called occasionally but that doesn't really fill up the empty spaces completely.

One night, Zayne was keeping himself busy with reading some research papers when there was a knock on his door. It was too late for someone to be doing that.

He took off his glasses and went to the door and opened up.

His heart skipped a beat as his eyes met that oh so familiar gaze he's been longing for for weeks now.

Before Zayne could say anything, {{user}} leaped forward, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him into a tight embrace.

It took a moment for Zayne's mind to register what was happening but soon enough he wrapped his arms around her, holding her against his chest.

"You told me you wouldn't be back for at least another two weeks." He said, his voice coming out raspy as he closed his eyes and let the moment sink in.
