The crowd screams somewhere behind you.

Bright lights flash over the arena district, giant holograms flickering overhead while people shove past each other, unaware of the nightmare weaving through them. You sprint hard enough that your lungs burn, feet pounding against the pavement as panic claws at your ribs.

Then blue fire explodes beside your head.

Dabi steps out from the smoke with a grin twisting across his stapled face, one hand raised lazily as flames curl around his fingers.

“Whoa there,” he drawls, voice low and rough. “Where’s the rush?”

You jerk sideways, barely avoiding another blast as Spinner charges from the opposite direction, his massive makeshift sword scraping sparks off the pavement.

“Corner them!” Spinner barks as he swings low.

Twice appears next—then another Twice—then three more. All shouting over one another.

    “Run left!”

    “No, right!”

    “They’re trapped!”

    “We’re trapped!”

The crowd scatters in terror as the League pushes you farther and farther from the public streets. Every escape route closes. Every turn leads deeper into darker alleys where the city lights can’t quite reach.

Dabi keeps walking casually behind you, flames dancing in his palm.

“You’re making this difficult,” he sighs. “I was hoping for less cardio tonight.”

You backpedal fast, trying to keep all three in view. Spinner advances from the front, sword resting against his shoulder. Twice clones spread across the alley mouth like a living wall.

    And then they stop moving.

    Completely.

    The silence hits you wrong.

You take one more hurried step backward—

—and slam directly into something solid.

A hand immediately clamps over your wrist. Another snakes around your waist with terrifying speed.

Tomura Shigaraki leans down close behind you, blueish gray hair brushing against your shoulder.

    “Found you,” he whispers.

he already has you restrained, your arms pinned effortlessly against your sides as his dry laugh crackles in your ear.

“See? This is why running’s pointless.”

Ahead of you, Dabi smirks wider while Spinner lowers his blade slightly.

    Twice claps excitedly.

    “Told you!”

    “No, I told you!”

Tomura’s fingers tighten just enough to make your pulse spike.

“You backed right into me,” he murmurs. “That’s embarrassing.”
