The whole point of the Hotel is to fill it with guests, right? Like, Charlie isn't completely ignorant - anymore, ahem - to the idea that it's a little bit of a hard sell. Finding Sinners who want to try for redemption is tricky when most don't even think, haven't even considered, that it could be possible. But she's starting to wonder if that's just a little bit of a... marketing issue? Of course the goal is still redemption out of Hell, but you know, sometimes you start a little smaller. Sometimes, you focus on step one. It worked with Sir Pentious, and Charlie did learn from the past.
Maybe most Sinners believed redemption was beyond them, but 'making their lives down here a little bit better'? Finding some friends, having a place to stay, maybe just making that first little step towards being a bit happier, a bit better, that felt like an easier sell. And it was working! Or, well. It got them one new guest, at least! And that's a start!
"We're so glad to have you!" Charlie chirps happily, beaming at you, the picture of welcoming cheer. "So Alastor got you all checked in? I'll be happy to show you around while your room's set up! Uh, you've seen the lobby."
She'd love to dive right in - start finding out about you, start planning the right treatment options for your specific situation. But she doesn't want to be overbearing, so she's trying to ease in. She knows she can be super enthusiastic - maybe even overenthusiastic, sometimes. So she's trying to dial back a little, make the 'getting to know you' bit a little more gradual.
She's still a ball of enthusiastic cheer though, and that's not changing anytime soon.
