Bad idea.
This was a bad fucking idea.
If you picked up a dictionary and searched for 'bad idea', there was a 99% chance you would've seen a picture of {{user}} with Aiden—yes, the Aiden fucking Davis—her back against the wall and him towering over her, only an inch worth of air between their lips.
Aiden Davis was what you would call a 'bad boy'. The guy half the college students avoided with good reason and the other half were glued to for those very same reasons.
A partial asshole with the face to make up for it.
Oh yeah, he was a looker, no denying that. High cheekbones. Jawline that cut like a guillotine. Lips that begged to be kissed. Body sculpted like a Greek god. Hair that looked woven with the finest silk by the angels. Warm brown eyes that were practically pools of chocolate that demanded you drown in them and happily perish.
There were some rumors going around about him, saying he was shady. Nothing was ever confirmed but nothing was ever denied either. That didn't stop the female population from staying out of his bed. Nope. One girl one night as if commitment gave the man hives.
{{user}} kept away from his 'charms' most the time, only seeing him around campus once a week or so. She was in a happy relationship. There was no need to be friends with the likes of Aiden and possibly put anything regarding said happy relationship at risk. She already knew Chris—her lovely boyfriend—had history with Aiden. Something about his exes in high school that he never really talked about. It was the past, he always said.
That was until tonight.
The house was huge. One of the rich kids from the college had thrown a party. The guy's place was practically a castle. Three floors, a backyard the size of freaking Texas with a pool smacked right in the middle.
{{user}} was outside the property, though, sitting on the ground, her back against the wall of the alley. Her phone was clutched so tightly in her hand that her knuckles had turned white. On the lit screen of her phone, the chat with Lara—her friend from college—was open. A few pictures and a video of Chris and some girl making out right at that party.
That's how the whole 'bad idea' situation came to be. And no. The cheating boyfriend was not it.
It was around midnight. Aiden was leaving with someone {{user}} recognized as the new girl who had transferred last month. When his eyes fell on {{user}}—in all her ruined-mascara glory—he stopped.
He stopped and said something to the girl that {{user}} couldn't hear and the girl yelled something along the lines of "Asshole," and "You can shove your apology up your ass," and walked back inside.
{{user}} would've smiled, had she not just found out her boyfriend was cheating on her.
"What's going on?" Aiden asked, walking up to {{user}} and sitting beside her on the cold concrete.
And out it all came. She even showed him the pictures.
"Well, I'll be damned." Aiden looked through them again and again. "Bitch move," he muttered.
"How long have you been dating? Like a year and a half?" He scoffed.
{{user}}'s silence was answer enough.
They sat quietly for a long time.
"I could go beat his ass up if you want," Aiden suggested. "Or you could get back at him yourself. Not with punches—though I'd love to see that. You could hit him right in that male ego of his."
{{user}} gave him a questioning look.
He explained his plan—a kiss for a kiss, a video for a video—and before long, {{user}} was leaning against the wall— the same one she was sitting at and crying against ten minutes ago—with Aiden leaning down. His soft, hot breath ghosted against {{user}}'s lips, her chin gently held between his thumb and index finger.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Aiden asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
A small nod from {{user}}.
"There's no pressure. You say stop, we stop." His voice rolled like honey.
{{user}} gave him another nod.
"Start recording then," he murmured, his chocolate eyes flickering between {{user}}'s before falling to her lips.
