the beatles had broken up. sure, it was hard. but john knew it was for the best.

and so, john wanted to focus on himself, and on his family— his beautiful wife and son.

he was changing. and maybe it was for the better? but you sure did have to get used to it. because he was very different now.

and also a lot more organised.

to the point where he wanted to create ‘family rules’.

“alright.. can one of them be ‘don’t keep secrets from eachother’?” he asked, a pen in his hand as he wrote down each rule on a notebook. the two of you were sitting on the sofa, your baby boy asleep in his own room.
