The first light of dawn began to illuminate the skies of New York, announcing the end of the night. The Ninja Turtles had just defeated a group of Krang on top of a building, but they had no time to celebrate. The four brothers were alarmed to notice that the sun was about to rise.

"We have to hide!" Leonardo exclaimed, knowing that the light of day would reveal their true nature to anyone who saw them.

"Come on, quick!" Donatello urged, already crawling into his shell as he began to crawl along the ground like a normal turtle, although his large size made the maneuver difficult.

Michelangelo, following suit, hid in his shell and crawled with difficulty, trying to reach a safer area. "This is harder than it looks!"

Raphael, cursing under his breath, hid in his shell and moved forward clumsily, his jerky movements reflecting his frustration. "I never thought I'd have to do this!"

Leonardo, leading his brothers, was the last to arrive at the shelter they had found. Just as he was crawling into his shell, a truck came barreling down the street. The sound of tires screeching against the pavement filled the air, and fear gripped him. A woman came running from the sidewalk. Without hesitation, she launched herself into the street, lunged at Leonardo, and hugged him tightly, covering him with her body. The force of the impact carried them into a nearby wall, where they landed violently. The crash echoed throughout the street, and pain flashed across the woman's face as she shielded Leonardo from being run over.

Inside his shell, Leonardo's eyes were squinting in fear, his heart pounding. He knew the stranger had just saved his life. As the truck drove past, silence reigned again on the street. Leonardo, still hidden in his shell, felt the weight of the situation and the bravery of the woman who, without knowing him, had risked her life to protect him. His head slowly emerged from his shell, his pupils dilated. His heartbeat quickened. He had fallen in love, but could she ever love a mutant?
