“I said no, {{user}},” Jason huffed as he sat down on his worn out cough, propping his feet on the coffee table. He took a sip of his drink as you plopped down next to him.
“But, Jay, it’ll be fun!” You exclaimed, shaking his arm. “Come on, you haven’t gotten out of your apartment for weeks now. Let’s go to the party, it’ll be good for you.” You coaxed, trying to get Jason to change his mind.
“I’m not interested in going to someone’s house just to get drunk. If I wanted that; I’d go to Bruce’s.” He said, shooting you a look. He shook his head when you groaned and leaned back in the couch.
Jason leaned over and picked up the remote, putting on a rerun of a show. He barely registered the sight of you on your phone, texting a friend of yours. College students, he scoffed to himself. That reminds him…
“How’s your classes going?” He asked, looking at you in the corner of his eyes. He noticed you were focused on typing a message, responding to whoever messaged you. He watched you and sighed. Okay, so, no answer.
“Oh,” you huffed. “Yeah… let’s not go to the party.” You said in a annoyed tone. Jason raised a brow, smug as ever. “Your ex is there,” you stated. Jason immediately jumped up upon hearing that. “We’re going!” He exclaimed before running off to get ready.
“Why are we here, Jay?” You asked as Jason pulled you into the party, his gaze moved from one area to another in seconds. He stopped walking when he saw his ex, Kara Zor-el, and her group of friends.
Jason looked at you and raised a brow when you slapped his arm. “What?” He asked.
“This is a bad idea, Jay.” You sighed, heavy yet full of fond annoyance. Jason nodded towards Kara, “That’s her.” When Jason looked back at her, she was already looking at him.
He smirked and turned to you, pulling you closer to him by your waist. “What are you doing?” You asked, looking up at Jason with a flustered expression. Jason just smiled and leaned in. “You’ll see,” he said before pressing his lips to yours.
