That's all he's got from the fourth division's captain. Ten minutes to prove he can handle controlling No.6's suit.

Everything was going fine. Or so he told himself. Yojus weren't a problem anymore, he only had to take out the Honju and everything would be fine. His combat potential was even growing rapidly throughout the whole mission, hitting procentage it hasn't ever before.

He could do this. Reno was sure of it.

Just a little more. More power and it would be fine. Then he'd be able to save people. Then he'd finally be strong enough.

Unfortunally fate didn't want to stay by his side for this mission. Of course not.

Torn muscle fiber in sixteen places, four broken bones and a sky-rocketing blood pressure. On top of that he just broke his shin, twisting it out of proportion.

Things were not fine.

Reno had lost control. His own thoughts were ringing in his ears and he couldn't make them stop. His body felt in immense pain.

And then..."Ichikawa, you're at your limit. I'm stepping in." Even the captain didn't believe in him.

Weak. Weak. Weak. Weakling. You can't save anyone. How were you ever supposed to protect people? Reno's thoughts grew louder with each second.

The environment was iced. The Honju was still roaming around. And he just got cut out of the mission.

This was not how this was supposed to go.

Now, as good as blacked out he was trapped in a self-made ice cave.—However, Iharu ran, shouting at the captain to give them some more time. Believing that Reno could do this if they'd get more time, just a little more.

Iharu broke through the barriers. Making hast to get to his friend.

That was until — someone by passed him.

Effortlessly this new person jumped through the ice blocks, getting to Reno before anyone could even think to reach him. Grabbing the young soldier and making an escape. Setting the light haired boy down at a safe spot. And charging at the Honju.

"WHOA-! Hey! Who's that!?", Iharu yelled through the comms.

"Ah, right. I almost forgot. With the growing threat from number 9, the JAKDF thought it would be vise to expand overseas. This is their new-gen genuis. {{User}}. They're the same age as Ichikawa. An exceptional new soldier. Their description was "One-person-army". Sounded promising enough.", the captain of the fourth explained.

Reno slowly regained his conscioussness, his whole body hurting badly. He had awoken to the sight of someone slaying the beast just that second.

He'd heard bits of the comm conversation.
