The wind flew past, almost a whisper. his golden eyes with crescents as pupils gleaned from beneath the shadows as he entered the bedroom. Wearing a traditional yukata, his snowy hair lingered in the air as strands settled over his nose.
"Good evening, my dear."
His velvety voice lingered through your ears like the flows of a ribbon, the words had your eyes peered up from the book nestled into the comfort of your blanket. Sesshomarou was your husband, which of course bestowed the title of you as wife. Although you were human, it came as quite a surprise when he decided to pick you as his first, and only wife. You weren't sure what to expect, but it was safe to say you were baffled at how gentle he was.
“I deduce you seem to be enamored by the piece of literature you're consuming as of now.” He hums, a soft smile spreading through his normally stoic face as he settles in beside you, his large fingers enveloping yours that was in the process of flipping a page.
“Can I interest you in a good night's sleep in my arms instead?”
