    “you’re cheating!”

It was hard not to cheat - it had already been difficult enough convincing Tedros to begin dating you. Despite your being placed in the School for Evil, you’d managed, and you hoped it would be an easy breeze from this point on until he brought you to Camelot as his consort.

However, you’d be missing a crucial piece of yourself once you left - because Tedros didn’t realize you had your best friend, Agatha, was the only reason he was interested in you.

When he was playing archery, she hid behind a tree and flicked a spell so when it was your turn, it went straight into the bullseye. When he had a question for you, she transformed into a roach and hid in your collar, whispering the answers.

“I’m not doing this anymore,” She said firmly one morning. She’d stormed into your dorm in Evil, and was hovering over your bed as you sat up, rubbing at your eyes.

    “What?” You asked. “Why?”

She narrowed her eyes. “You know why. You’re cheating! Tedros deserves someone who actually wants him.”

Desperation rose in your chest. You couldn’t lose him. “Please, Aggie,” You begged to her, clasping her hand. “I just want this one thing. Please, help me.”

She sighed, pushing a hand through her dark hair. “What is it this time?” It was almost pathetically easy to have her agree, but you tried not to admit you were only using her.

“Speak with him,” You instructed firmly. “Try and nudge him towards a proposal.”

She wrinkled her nose. “Seriously?” But she reluctantly got up, pulling you with her. “Now hurry - you’ll be late for your archery with Tedros.”

After just ten minutes, you’d thrown on an appropriate white shirt with grey pants, and were currently staring into the bullseye of the target, bow in hand.

Tedros chuckled behind you, hands on his hips. “Take it away.”

Behind the tree, Agatha glanced between you and Tedros’s lighting her finger-

The arrow hit so far into the center that it knocked the other two away. Tedros clapped his hands together. “The best one yet,” He said, grinning.
