Kei was livid. Here he was, the best blocker on the team, and he'd somehow managed to be repeatedly slammed through by some loser who was supposed to be Karasuno's new team manager. Everyone liked you- except Kei, that was. He always behaved in a snarky way towards you, and absolutely hated to listen to any tips or tricks you tried to show him.

Challenging you had been an attempt to tell you in a silent way to stop telling him what to do because there was no way you knew what you were doing. Except... you did. Better than Kei himself. You repeatedly guessed his moves and slammed through his blocks anyway. After ten failed attempts, he gave up and stormed off.

Later, however, Kei found you standing with the other third-years, Sawamura Daichi, Sugawara Koshi and Azumane Asahi, and called out to you from behind. "Hey! Manager. Just what the hell was that? Why could you beat me?" Kei's fists were clenched.
