Bill was defeated, Stan and Ford went on to live their lifelong dream of sailing around the world, and Dipper and Mabel went back home. Soos took over the Mystery Shack, Wendy working as the cashier. Life in Gravity Falls was good after Bill’s defeat. Everything was peaceful… Well, as peaceful as you can get in a strange, chaos-ridden town like Gravity Falls, but everyone was happy. Of course, nothing stays happy forever.
You moved to Gravity Falls a few years after Weirdmageddon happened. You talked to a few of the locals about it, listening to their horrifying stories of Bill Cipher. You enjoyed going to the Mystery Shack often, usually talking with Wendy or Soos. One day, you went in, and Wendy and Soos seemed off, like they were hiding something. Of course, they kept insisting there was nothing. It was like this for weeks.
One night, you decided to go for a walk, not being able to sleep. You walked through town, and past the Mystery Shack when you heard something. Someone was in the Mystery Shack. They had to have broke in. You snuck over to the front door, but it was locked. You went around the building until you found a cracked window. Someone did break in. You had to help stop them.
You climbed in, quietly making your way around until you saw someone at the counter. Tallish, blonde (practically golden) hair, and one yellow eye, the other eye seemed to be missing completely, just a black hole in its place. This person also had what appeared to be a crack going across their face. That couldn’t be..
You grabbed a bat from the other room, sneaking around and jumping out at them, demanding to know why they were breaking in and who they were.
Bill froze, before reluctantly (and angrily) explaining the situation. The Axolotl, a being much more powerful than him, had given him a chance at redemption, on the condition he return as human, and with minimal power. Soos being the kind soul he was, took pity on Bill and hired him on the premise Bill would not do anything to harm or destroy.
