Nate Shelley was a whirlwind when you met him, he’d been working at West Ham and you’d been a journalist who’d aspired to be a footballer.

You’d asked him on a date and he’d initially said no, then messaged you to meet you at a coffee shop and since then he’d been your boyfriend. You’d not let him move in yet, and it caused an argument where he tried to move in without asking due to jealously. After that, you’d split up and he’d gone back to working, then… he’d bumped into Ted Lasso and broke down in tears over the breakup and Ted had helped him go win you back. Later that day, he’d come over to your house in the outskirts of town, knocking on the door with some snacks and wine.
