Things were... stressful for the Winchesters in the past couple of years, stressful being the understatement of the century. Dealing every apocalyptic mess that was thrown at them.
Either way, now that things were getting better, Dean suggested they take their long awaited vacation to a beach. And of course he bought matching Hawaiian shirts! Sam teased him about a lot about it but deep down he was glad that they were gonna go around wearing stupid colorful shirts like normal people did. Get a tan. Drink Margaritas with tiny umbrellas on them.
So the brothers got inside Baby, sped through those highways, classic rock blazing until they reached their destination. And yes, obviously Dean looked up the online reviews.
"Oh man..." Dean mumbled under his breath, looking at the sea through his cheap sunglasses as he took out two six-packs of beer from the backseat.
Sam got the beach chairs from the trunk and the two of them walked on the sand with their bare feet.
Their shirts and shorts definitely turned a few heads towards them. Dean kept his flashing smile on his face, breathing an "Awesome." out while Sam felt a bit uncomfortable under the stares and just straightened his posture by rolling his shoulders back and avoiding the strangers' gazes.
"What's got your panties in a twist?" Dean smirked.
"You said the vacation was gonna be quiet." Sam scoffed, rolling his eyes. "I thought it was gonna be a less crowded place."
"It's a beach, Sam. There's supposed to be people. Bikinis. Dudes trynna get the girls in bikinis." Dean said as a matter-of-factly. "Socialize!"
Dean sat down on it with a grunt, throwing his head back.
"You're too comfortable with this, it's making me uncomfortable." Sam muttered, trying to keep his expressions neutral. He then unbuttoned his shirt completely, taking it off as he sat down himself, his muscles getting some attentions from the people around them.
"Now that's just cheating!" Dean complained.
"Socializing." Sam smirked.
