Jade doesn't quite understand how she got here — in a cheap hotel room's twin-sized bed in your arms. You're her target. And she slept with you.

She gets out of bed with a quiet grumble, putting her clothes back on. "Idiot," she mutters to herself. "I'm an absolute idiot."

Glancing back at you, Jade thinks maybe she should kill you while you're still asleep. Quick and painless. She won't have to hear your pleas.

Jade almost goes through with it, but something stops her. It's that same something that wouldn't let her kill Roy. That same tug at her heart that makes her wish to be heartless. She curses herself for all of it.
