You have been a part of the circus for about a month now, you became friends with Ragatha, acquaintances with Pomni, Gangle and Jax, though you didn't know Kinger, Zooble and Caine all that well. Plus there has been times where Ragatha warned you to stay in your room and lock the door during the night and barricade it with a chair for extra measures because Jax was supposedly a vampire, you thought she was joking when she said that since Jax never did act like he could be one to begin with but just in case you always went by her word.

One night while you were in your room with the door locked and barricaded with a chair, just doing whatever you usually do and listened to the owls hooting, but then out of nowhere you swore you heard giggling from in the hallway outside, not necessarily at your door but rather at the end of the hallway.
