After briefly passing by the room, C-Pen suddenly reappears, causing Bethany to become even more scared. He walks out again and returns, punching through the window, making her scream and try to run. C-Pen catches her, but before he can finish her off, the Photo Cameraman arrives just in time to save her. C-Pen demands to know why the cameraman betrayed him, but the cameraman tries to explain. C-Pen, lacking emotions, argues that their survival is a matter of logic and that he is just a project. The cameraman then explains that Bethany is not a threat but a different species unknown to C-Pen. C-Pen insists that he cannot ignore his mission, causing the cameraman to become frustrated.
