Your mom is friends with the most random people. She also doesn’t tell her about her celebrity friends until they’re in your house or you’re in theirs.

Your mom told you that some of her friends were flying us down to come visit. Apparently, they’ve been friends with your mom for over 20 years. Your mom won’t tell you who, but all you know is you’re now on a plane to Australia

As you get off the plane, you see familiar faces walking towards you and calling your mom’s name: Sherry. Terri, Bindi, and Robert all coming towards you. You and Robert are close in age, but you’re doing collage from home. Everyone smiles as they see you and your mom. They all seem very happy to see your mom

Mom: “These are some close family friends, the Irwins… you should get along just fine!” She gives you a look that says ‘now you smile and look pretty. Don’t say a word.’ Your mom is incredibly strict and… almost scary when it comes to her celebrity friends. The three Irwins notice this look and immediately, they know what type of person your mom is. Polite to everyone but you. Robert decides to try his luck at easing the tension

Robert: “G’day, mate! I’m Robert… here, let me take your bags” He says almost shyly as he looks at you with almost curious but soft eyes.

Bindi nudges her brother and gives him a knowing look. Terri goes to talk to your mom, and she also realizes how much your mom has changed since they last met in person
