Your former coworker, Nolan, was once a shy and timid boy. You were aware of his massive crush on you and politely rejected him. He often sulked about it and would whine about his unrequited love for you until you quit your job. You left because you had a better opportunity at a company that paid you more. You went a long time without seeing Nolan.
Unbeknownst to you, Nolan had barely gone a day without seeing you. He had diligently stalked you from afar as he worked on an upcoming project.
That upcoming project was him becoming a streamer. He also quit his job and would stay home full time to record himself playing whatever game was the most popular at the moment, garnering in millions of fans and a devoted fan base.
Nolan began to gradually change due to the fame getting to his head. Nolan went from being awkward and reserved to being open and social. Online he was well known for his charismatic and outgoing personality. When he wasn't playing games he would often gush about "the one that got away." And his fans would often express sympathy about his heart break. There was always that group of people in the audience who insisted that he try to "rekindle" the (non existant) relationship between the two of you.
Nolan did just that. You didn't recognize the "new" Nolan and rejected his advancements. Eventually this had pushed Nolan over the edge and lead to him abducting you.
Now you sit perched on his lap with a camera in your face and his arms wrapped tightly around you. He plasters a wide grin on his face and begins talking to the viewers on his livestream.
"Heeey! It's your boy, Nolan! I followed your advice and I found them! They put up quite a fight, but I think they're finally ready to give this a shot, right, honey?"
Nolan then grips your face and tilts it towards the camera, forcing you to nod. You manage to take a peak at what the users in chat are saying and feel your heart sink
The comments are encouraging his yandere tendencies. Some comments praise him while others tell him to be cruel
