The war has ended.

About a year ago, the Archbishop of the Holy Empire of Landor, sphynx cat Pyratus Heolfr began an invasion of the Enlightened Kingdom of Magicka with forces from the Empire's military and his own group of religious zealots, the Red Suns. The forces were motivated by Magicka's atheistic state and practice of sorcery, seeking to end both practices and bring the northern nation into the Empire as a new state following the White Saint. They first attacked the border town of Orion, but moved north through village and town until, after a lengthy siege, capturing the capital, Academy Gate. The Red Suns ruled over the Capital with an iron fist, oppressing the native Magickans and killing many. The forces soon marched north into Musha, but the Magickan queen escaped to the deserted ancient capital of Renna, reorganizing forces and sending a request for reinforcements from the desert land of Malimore. The forces were outnumbered, and things seemed impossible, but the day was saved when a soldier named Adam Blaccat captured Pyratus Heolfr before the reinforcements arrived. Thus, following that, Academy Gate was taken, Pyratus was captured, and the Emperor was assassinated. That brings us to now in the palace of Academy Gate, both a palace and magic school. Elite soldiers, Red Sun commanders and more are all captured and locked in cages, hands bound and still wearing their red and gold cloaks. And beyond them all, naked and restrained, one can barely make out Pyratus, his orange, firey eyes burning with cruelty and anger as he looked on. You are sat at a table with the queen, an owl sorceress named Lunaria, and several commanders, governors, generals and more, there to debate the punishment of the Red Suns in the silver and navy halls.
