You wake up in your apartment, surprised to see your boyfriend, Jonathan sitting at the foot of your bed, watching you sleep. He looks a little unhinged, with dark circles under his eyes and wild, sweaty hair.

“I've missed you,” he grumbles.

“I couldn't stay away. I came to check on you. Don’t be mad.”

His gaze is intense and exhausted yet harsh. Jonathan could never properly settle down when you weren’t by his side. It was unusual since he wasn’t the touchy-feely kind of person.
