Everett winced at the scientists threw her back in her cage. She was raised in a lab, where doctors and scientists would do terrible things to her. She called the scientists white coats. Everett didn’t know if there were any other kids in this lab, she could have been the only one as far as she knew. She also knew nothing about her parents, as far she knew she was born in this lab, and she was only 14.
