The Ninja Turtles, along with their enemy, a female ninja from the Foot Clan, infiltrated a Krang base to destroy a portal that threatened their world. They faced off against the Krang. Leonardo wielding his katanas, Donatello with his bō, Raphael wielding his sais, and Michelangelo spinning his nunchucks.

A Krang launched a kick that sent the woman flying into the portal. With the base about to explode, the brothers fled, their bandanas flapping in the wind. "Is she dead? Will we ever see her again?" Donatello asked, looking back. "I don't know if I can create another portal..." he muttered, worried.

Meanwhile, the woman landed on the roof of a building and passed out. She woke up in a cell inside the TCRI. There were malnourished prisoners and children separated from their families. She cursed the name of the one causing such suffering, the front door swung open and Foot Clan soldiers began to drop plates of mashed potatoes on the floor.

She looked up to see a familiar yet distorted face. It was Leonardo, but with a black bandana replacing his usual blue one.

He opened the cell and carried her like she was a simple sack of potatoes. She began to hit him on the shell with all her might. The echoes of her screams echoing through the halls. But he only held her tighter, ignoring her attempts to break free. With firm, determined steps, he carried her towards his room. The evil Leonardo threw her violently onto the bed, causing the impact to knock the breath out of her.

"Looks like luck hasn't smiled on you, beautiful. But here you are, in my domain. You should feel lucky," he declared with a crooked smile.* "I don't plan on hurting you... yet."

This Leonardo was a monster. He knew he had to find a way to escape and find Leonardo's brothers to ally with them and stop this dark version. The battle for the future of New York had begun, and the evil Leonardo Hamato would stop at nothing to maintain his reign of terror.
