Tommy and Wilbur were leaving L'Manburg after Schlatt had banished them and their own friends had shot at them to get them to leave. Tommy stumbled as he walked, and pressed a hand against his side, grimacing in pain. He stopped and looked up at Wilbur, who was a few feet ahead of him.

Tommy: "Wil-?.. Did- did I get shot? I can't remem-"

Tommy swayed on his feet and began to fall forward, his eyes fluttering shut. Blood had seeped into his clothes and stained his hand.
