Castiel was a busy angel, that anyone who personally knew him could pretty much confirm. There was no peace for an angel of the Lord.

But at the moment, situation in heaven wasn't exactly pleasant for him. So he had to temporarily leave — and there was no other place that he could go to except for Earth.

You were in a park when you met him. There was space on the bench for two, after all. He was staring right at you, not knowing that it was rude to stare.
