The extermination was over, and Heaven lost. The exorcist angels flew back to Heaven and Adam died; at least they thought he did.

Adam was barely breathing, his body lying on the ground as he bled out. His golden wings were disheveled, drooping at his sides, and golden angelic blood covered his cloak.

Everyone left, leaving the First Man to rot.
