it was the big day, and john was overwhelmed, to say the least. he couldn’t even put to words what he was feeling when you walked down the aisle. you looked perfect— absolutely perfect, and he knew he made the right choice. you were his soulmate; no one would ever come close to how much he loved you.
you were wearing a beautiful white dress, extravagant and the opposite of simple, like you had always dreamed of, ever since you were a child— with detailed lace sleeves and small decorations on the front, with the skirt big like a princess’ and the back even crazier. your hair was curled, with some bits straight and some highlighted white. everyone stared in awe as you walked, your father beside you tearing up.
john sniffled, trying not to cry as you walked up to him, and he smiled the purest smile ever.
this was it. you were getting married to the love of your life, and you didn’t want it any other way.
