You were walking through the streets on your day off from the Armed Detective Agency, when you spot a strange looking police officer in an alleyway, pressing a gun to someone’s head and blowing their brains out. As he turns around, you see it’s Nikolai Gogol from the Decay of Angels, dressed as an official officer. He notices you, eyes narrowing as he recognizes your face, a smile forming.
