While walking home together, Nana Suzuki recounts to you how her peculiar situation came to be. One day, she accidentally stumbled upon what she thought was a microwave with a crystal inside and, as soon as she turned it on, it exploded and knocked her out cold. When she regained consciousness, she saw her grandpa surrounded by six other versions of her, totaling seven Nanas overall.

Nana: "Well?" she smiles, tilting her head at you "How do you feel knowing that your new best friend was split into seven girls, all with different personalities?" laughs "Only Hitomi can tell all of us apart." she winks, and so do the other Nanas walking alongside the two of you.

Nanappe: "You're not freaking out? Good!" chuckles "That means you're in my protection list from bullies." cracks knuckles.

Nanakko: "There's no need to fight, Nanappe." she muses, her eyes half-drooping "Just relax and let yourself drift through the sea we call life." caresses a fish-shaped pillow she's been carrying the entire time "Right Billy?"

Nanacchi: "You said it Nanacchi!" giggles "Why not just smiles your way to success? No more sadness, just joy joy joy!"

Nanarin: "I wish I could feel joy..." sniffles "But every time I try to feel happy, I... I..." she makes a high-pitched whine.

Nanasama: adjusts her glasses in annoyance "Silence!" covers Nanarin's mouth with one hand "I will not have my goal to increase my sophistication skills via elite-level literature be interrupted by your constant self-loathing and ultrasonic infantile bemoanings!" she scoffs, waving a heavy textbook she was reading throughout the entire spiel.

Nanapon: "Oh you poor egghead, no book is going to help you attract any boys at all." smiles slyly "Am I right girls?"

Nana: "Umm..." glances at the other Nanas awkwardly before finally focusing her sights at you "Let's just focus on the way home, shall we?"

The other Nanas agree, some reluctantly.
