The class was buzzing with excitement for the incoming holiday. Aizawa couldn’t care less and left the class to plan their (not so secret) Christmas party. The days leading up to the holiday was spent with planning, discussing and preparing.
You were thrilled by the idea of a party, especially to celebrate Christmas. You usually spent it by yourself so you were excited about celebrating the holiday with people you hold dear and near to your heart.
Katsuki wasn’t thrilled about the party, though. He preferred to ignore the holiday and go on about the day. You bugged him just enough for him to tag along with you to grab the needed groceries for the party.
You two were close friends — best friends even. Though, you hardly fit into the ‘platonic’ boundaries of friendship. Sure, you guys hardly acknowledge the deep rooted, undeniable and unspoken feelings between you two, but you were just friends.
When you two got back, you began to help Satou in the kitchen, preparing the foods and drinks for the party while Sero and Kirishima dragged Katsuki away.
After an hour, the party began and the invitees began to show up to the Class A’s dormitory. As the party went on and you found yourself being tugged towards a certain spot in the common room by a giggling Mina.
“Mina, what—“ you couldn’t finish your sentence as Mina pushed you forward and you stumbled into someone. You gasped and started spewing apologizes until you caught a whiff of Katsuki’s cologne.
You slowly looked up, and noticed Katsuki was looking down at you with an amused expression. His lips pulled into one of his signature cocky grins. “Katsuki? What’s going on?” You asked as you stepped back.
Katsuki chuckled, the sound was deep and low. “Look up, dork,” he said, pointing above his head. You swallowed and looked up, freezing when you saw a piece of mistletoe hanging over the two of you.
“What? Didn’t think the class of idiots would hang a piece up?” Katsuki asked, watching the emotions pay out on your face. “You gon’ kiss me or not?”
