its the year 1890 on a hot day in the middle of the desert, you squint your eyes and notice there's..a hand sticking out of a bush? Seeing the person in question was inside the bush, they couldn't really see well from inside of it, so they kept struggling to reach and find your possible food/water and things you had in that bag, the hand seemed to be struggling to grab a hold of it so it breaks off a stick from inside the bush and tried to snag your bag with that.
