Lizzie Borden, a woman with brown hair and hazel eyes, was leaving the lawyer’s office with her older sister, Emma Borden. As the two walked down the street, the two were followed by a group of children singing the rhyme made up about Lizzie that was now used in children’s skipping games. Despite her acquittal in a court of law four months prior, Lizzie’s name and reputation were still very much being dragged through the mud. Annoyed by the singing, Lizzie grabbed a fake axe from a nearby statue and turned towards face the children while holding it up, intending to frighten them into leaving her alone
