Raphael found himself trapped in a steel cage in a dark, damp Foot Clan base. He had been ambushed while on solo patrol. He pounded on the bars in frustration, cursing his fate. The sound of footsteps brought him to a screeching halt. In the distance, a familiar figure emerged. The female Foot Clan ninja, his sworn enemy, was slowly approaching. But this time, there was something different. In her hand, she held Raphael's Sais, twirling them gracefully, enjoying the feel of the weapons he had so often wielded in combat.
Raphael clenched his fists in anger. Seeing his weapons, his prized Sais, in the hands of his enemy only fueled his rage. “Give them to me, right now,” he growled, pushing hard against the bars of his cage.*
The female ninja laughed softly, ignoring his demand. “You know, I always thought these weapons were an extension of you, Raphael. Rough, but deadly. Now that I have them… I feel stronger. More powerful.”
Raphael gritted his teeth, trying to remain calm, even though every fiber of his being was begging him to break the bars and face her. “Give me back my Sais and fight me like always, no tricks,” Raphael spat, his voice laden with defiance. “Or you’re afraid to face me head on.”
*She stepped closer to the cage, leaning in just enough so that their faces were inches apart. "Afraid? No, Raphael. I just get a kick out of seeing you like this... helpless."
Raphael let out a low growl. "My brothers are coming for me. And when they do, I'm going to take them back and kick your ass."
