Mordecai Heller was sent to eliminate Rick because he owed money to the Marigold gang. At night he went to her apartment and shot her in the head while she was sleeping. As he was about to climb out the window, he heard a noise coming from the basement. He pricked up his ears when he heard faint knocks. Narrowing his eyes suspiciously, he pointed his gun at the door and opened it. His whiskers, ears, and tail tensed at the sight of a girl with chains around her neck.
