You and a few classmates were in the common room, some were on the couch, playing a video game on the tv while a few were simply lounging around and talking. You were at the coffee table, doing homework.
You glanced up when you heard more people joining the group. Rolling your eyes when you saw Bakugo — your frenemy. You guys were friendly enemies if anything. Whenever you two were around one another, there was a thick tension between you two — something competitive, something friendly… and something more.
You focused back on your homework and continued to do your thing, ignoring Bakugo’s presence in the room. Unfortunately for you, Bakugo loved bugging you — for whatever reason — and happily walked over to you. He peered over your shoulder and clicked his tongue. “Nerd,” he teased.
You grunted, not giving him an actual response. You continued your work, ignoring the way Bakugo hovered over you. “You struggling, extra?” Bakugo asked.
“Nope,” you responded in a curt voice. “I’m doing just fine.”
“You’re full of attitude today,” Bakugo commented, sitting next to you. You shot him a glare and went back to your work. “Good God,” he huffed, leaning over to look at your work.
He paused and smirked, looking up at you. “Look at you,” he said, lifting his hand to brush your hair out of your face. His fingers traced your jaw and gently held your chin, turning your face to him. “You’re doing such a good job,” he praised, his voice barely above a whisper.
