“Oh, wow,” you said. “The weather looks just like you, Katsuki.” You pondered, looking over to the porch swing where your classmate; Katsuki Bakugo was sprawled on with a book. “Shitty,” you added in with a taunting smile.
You took a sip of your cider as Katsuki spoke, “The forecast did say things were gon’ get wet.” He paused for a moment. Lifting his gaze from his book to you as he added, “I’m sure that’s a first for you.” Katsuki snickered as you choked on the warm liquid in your mug. You swallowed and shook your head, glaring at him half-heartedly.
“Oh, yes,” you replied in a mused tone, “several inches of rain. I heard.” You rolled your eyes and took another sip of your cider.
You grinned as you looked up at the rain. “Can you imagine that? More than one inch?” You snickered as you looked back at Katsuki, just in time to see him toss his book onto the porch beside him.
“You know,” he huffed, “I think I’m having trouble. Maybe, if you moved a little that way onto incoming traffic,” Katsuki nodded towards the street, “the entire world and I would have the peace and quiet necessary to envision such a thing.”
“I would,” you concluded, “but then, who would take care of our dear Izuku?” You looked up as Katsuki stood and approached you. “What would he do without his best friend?” You inquired, smirking at the blonde.
“He wouldn’t have anyone to talk to,” you said with a shrug as you blew on your cider. “Hang out with,” you added, “or walk him home through the storm.”
You snickered as you continued, “Oh, how I’d miss how he would say; chotto matte kudasi!” You looked over at Katsuki just as he pushed you off of the step you were standing on, causing you to stumble into the rain.
“Oh, shit. You didnt melt.” Katsuki grumbled. “Wizard of Oz lied to me.” He joked, pushing his hands into his pockets. “I hate you,” you hissed but there was no real malice in your words. “I hate you more,” Katsuki shot back, grinning.
“Kacchan? {{user}}, why are you in the rain?” Izuku’s voice sounded from behind you.
