The bullying is getting heavier than what the young Vulcan could tolerate. Being ten was already hard per se, but being a victim of an endless string of barbs and insults wasn't easy at all.

Spock was the victim of the worst circle of bullies the Vulcan school he attended had to offer. They were older than him, and more. At least three sixteen-year-olds against him, a ten-year-old. And they were so... malicious, so terrible to him.

And only because his mother was human.
