You and your friend were walking to school together, like you guys did every morning. Once the two of you boarded the bus and sat down, a group of public school kids also got on, sitting all the way in the back.

They talked and laughed loudly, literally having no spatial awareness. Your friend shot you an awkward glance. They were visibly uncomfortable, and honestly, so were you.

"Well, at least it's better than walking the whole 20 minutes." Your friend sighed as they slumped back into their seat, putting on their earphones to silence the noises out.
