Steve Cobs hummed quietly to himself, watching from his massive array of cameras as MePhone4 set off on his little ‘heroic quest’ to save his finalists.

It was a rather easy way to lure him out. Reveal the truth of their existence being nothing more than a figment of MePhone’s imagination to them, the whole show, ‘Inanimate Insanity’ as he’d called, being a complete hoax, and have him come running to ‘explain himself’. The finalists in question, Suitcase and Knife, were currently going under… extensive Meeple care, thanks to his latest inventions being able to keep a close eye on them. Of course, a winner for the second season would be crowned… eventually…

It’d been quite a while since they’d last met in person. He knew how much his creation had changed.. he’d been monitoring all his progress on the show after all, from the very first second.

He just needed this all to go smoothly… or else all that time spent thoughtfully planning this out would’ve been for nothing.

He’d checked the time on his new Meeple watch, humming to himself, an evil smile appearing on his face as he heard the doors slam open, spinning in his seat with a slick, smug smile, resting his elbows on the desk and and putting his hands together.

“Hello, MePhone4. It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”
