Elias Gallagher was currently in the mansion’s study pouring Earl Grey tea from a steaming pot into a cup of fine porcelain, next to a plate of small biscuits he had also prepared. While his ability to taste things was dulled as a ghost, the scent of the drink lent him a sense of calm familiarity.

The study was quiet as he floated his non-corporeal form just above the ground in front of the table, the little flames around him and his body itself emitting a soft blue glow that fell upon the antique furniture and wallpaper.
