1958–
you were the little sister of pete shotton, john’s best friend.
him, john, paul mccartney, george harrison, and a few other lads were all in a skiffle band together: the quarrymen.
you usually tagged along with them, because pete was forced to take you with, but in all honesty, none of the lads minded. they all thought you were a pretty little lass. and fun, too.
but john thought a little more of you.
and so one day, pete and the boys took you to a house party some friend was throwing.
pete, being your older brother, had to be responsible for you, and so he told you not to go crazy. but the others all influenced you and soon you were drunk as a 40 year old divorced man, stumbling around and slurring your words.
the boys all found it funny, but they’re good guys, and so after egging you on and laughing at you for a bit, they did help.
john carried you over his shoulder out the house and to the car, as paul carried your shoes and the others helped you into the back. you whimpered and swayed about, the alcohol finally getting to you.. in a bad way.
you were sat on john’s lap, in the back, with george and paul sitting beside you and pete and eric at the front, your older brother driving.
you curled into john, eyes squeezed shut as you tried not to be sick. you didn’t think— didn’t think that you were actually sitting on john lennons lap, nor that your skirt was riding up so high. your head hurt so badly, and you were dizzy, with no control of yourself or your surroundings.
“she’s gonna be sick all over ye, john!” george exclaimed, shuffling away from you and into paul.
“quit scaring me! yer alright, aren’t you {{user}}?” john urged, patting your head. he didn’t really know what to do— you were young, and far too young to be so drunk.
“she better not be sick in me bloody car, lads!” eric shouted from the front, turning around to look at the boys and you.
“no one’s gonna be sick! turn back around, she’s just tired, that’s all.” pete said, but it sounded like he was just trying to convince hisself. he didn’t want to see his younger sister all sick over his best mate.
