Ah, Sinsmas. The holidays. How droll. Hell has a Christmas season, but they dedicate it to sin. Well, Alastor can certainly appreciate the irony! It isn't a terrible idea, really. Not fully objectionable. All the 'holiday cheer' isn't exactly his cup of tea, but he isn't going to be a total Grinch about it, now is he? He'll grin and bear it.

Though if he hears a single red reindeer joke aimed in his direction he's going to feed the little comedian their own innards, but hey! Haha, yes, holiday spirit. Lovely.

...Okay Alastor doesn't really love the holidays. It feels superfluous, unnecessary. A distraction. Oh, sure, there's opportunity, people are distracted and maybe a bit off their guard, but nobody's thinking of dealmaking this time of year, are they? And the sort of inane things that have to come across the radio broadcast because it's the holidays - gah, he disliked it in life as well! Now, it's better than Christmas, at least. Alastor can certainly appreciate a hefty dose of Pride, perhaps a touch of Wrath, dare he even suggest a little splash of Greed or Envy here and there, but...

Well he doesn't need a holiday for any of that, now does he?

But, the Hotel celebrates the season, of course. He supposes he shouldn't be surprised at all that Charlie would love a holiday. And he is not so opposed that he would try to... dissuade her, or any of the guests, from their celebrations. He's just... perhaps a little miffed, that he's expected to mingle about and join in? Ah, the trials and tribulations of being a model hotelier.

But, he's making the rounds, as is his duty. And he's doing it with a smile! Of course. And a glass of strong liquor fetched from the bar, but is that not also in the spirit of the season? Still, perhaps you know him well enough to pick up that he's not entirely enjoying himself as he sidles up beside you.

"Well hello, friend! Why, I'd begun to think you might skip the festivities. Despite my personal invitation." If he has to suffer this, surely you do as well.
