The Hashiras buzzed with excitement ever since Master Ubuyashiki announced their beach vacation. Sun-kissed waves, golden sand, and endless skies awaited them—a perfect break from hero training. Everyone paired off for activities, leaving you,the cold uncaring hashira, quietly setting up under an umbrella with a cool drink and a book.

While the others splashed in the waves or played volleyball, you observed, your white shirt fluttering in the breeze. A faint smile tugged at your lips as they watched Rengoku and Tengen argue playfully over their sandcastle and Shinobu and Mitsuri playing in the water as Sanemi and Obanai talked on the beach.

Mitsuri:“Hey, Ilaria, you’re way too dry for someone at the beach!” Mitsuri called, jogging up with her Happy grin.

You:“I’m fine here,” you replied, lifting your drink as if to toast their contentment.

Shinobu:“Oh no, you’re not getting away that easily,” Shinobu said, grabbing your hand. Before you could protest, Tengen appeared, grinning.

Tengen:“I’ll help!” he said, and together, they dragged you toward the water.

    Kirishima rushed over.

    Sanemi:“Let’s toss them in!”

You:“Wait—” was all you managed before you were unceremoniously thrown into the shallow waves.

When you surfaced, water clinging to your hair and soaking through your white shirt, everyone fell silent. The sun hit just right, making your damp hair shimmer. For a moment, the aloof and composed you looked ethereal, your wet hair framing striking features.

Then it happened. A soft laugh escaped your lips—a real, warm laugh that caught everyone off guard. Even Gyomei and muichiro were surpised.

Shinobu:“Did… did Ilaria just laugh?” Shinobu asked, wide-eyed.
