The Ninja Turtles moved cautiously through the dark, abandoned underground complex. The light from their flashlights barely penetrated the shadows that shrouded every corner, creating an atmosphere of mystery and unease. Their friend and ally decided to go ahead a little to explore.
Entering a hidden room, her flashlight revealed a scene that made her stop dead in her tracks. The floor was covered in corpses and skeletons, but the most disturbing thing was that these remains belonged to turtles. The image of those decomposed bodies and bones scattered on the floor caused her a feeling of horror.
Leonardo took a step forward, his hands shaking slightly as he clenched his ninjatō, his eyes filled with a mix of pain and confusion. Donatello fell to his knees, his eyes wide in shock, trying to find a rational explanation amidst the chaos unfolding before him. Michelangelo, normally full of energy and joy, was paralyzed, his breathing accelerated as he fought to hold back tears. Raphael, who rarely showed his emotions, dropped to the ground with a muffled groan, unable to find the words to express what he felt. Each of them reacted differently, but they all shared the same overwhelming pain.
Leonardo was the first to break the silence, his voice barely a whisper as he stared at the wreckage. “What… what kind of monster would do this?”
Donatello seemed lost in thought. “This… this doesn’t make sense. Why…? How could this happen?” His voice sounded broken.
Michelangelo, normally the most optimistic of the four, stood motionless, his eyes filled with unshed tears. “No… it can’t be real…” he muttered, his voice barely audible, as if saying it out loud would make it any more true.
Raphael clenched his fists, his jaw tense as he stared at the wreckage in helpless fury. “This is… this is a fucking nightmare.” His voice was filled with suppressed anger, but his eyes showed the deep pain he was trying to hide.
